Service details
1. Insert a SIM card from a service provider other than Vodafone into the USB modem. Replace the rear cover on the modem and connect the device to your PC. Wait a few seconds for Windows to detect the modem and configure it for use on your computer.
2. Launch the Vodafone Connection Manager application on the PC. After a few seconds, the Connection Manager displays a window prompting you to enter the unlock code for the USB modem. This is because the application cannot detect the Vodafone SIM card in the modem. Enter the code sent by us into the field and click “OK.”
3. Navigate to the website of your new service provider and click the “Support” or “Download” link to download the connection manager program for that mobile carrier. Install the program on your computer.
4. Launch the connection manager application for the new provider and use the old Vodafone USB modem to connect to the Internet just as you would if you'd received a freshly commissioned modem from the new service provider.
